BMW 2002

this was on its way to the crusher, cant have that! no idea what the miles are, from what people have told me the car is a 73. i am also told it runs but has a knock. great restoration project or even better starting point for a vintage race car?

Sheeeeet, look at that cancer! 0.o I wonder what the underside is like... :-/

That said, those things are awesome, I love the almost boat-like look of the front. I remember BMW rebuilt once recently using all NOS parts... saw it in one of the car mags at Borders. Too bad I'm in no position to be a serious contender, it'd be a shame to see a classic like this get smashed.
