Junkyard Watch.

I went to pops on 360 just inside Mechanicsville and found a few mk2 Jettas. Counterflows. A mk3 odb2 Jetta Automatic. Also an Alfa Romeo Milano Verde! If someone were to want a super rare set of Recaros Here you go. They're crappy lookin now, But if they were recovered... Nice...

I might have one in a box somewhere from when I used to collect them. I'll have to check and let you know, not sure if it's a later one though. If I can find it, it's yours for free.

No, I'm looking for the VW emblem for the trunk lid. The body / deck louver trim never was my personal style, and seems to me it's just one more way to scratch paint, trap moisture, develop rust, develop rot, etc. Got more than none of that now, which means I've got more than enough

This black emblem has to go ... she's got bigger issues to fix that I'm taking care of as I go, but if I can slap a better one on there for a couple bucks now, no harm no foul.

is your emblem just painted black? if so, why not remove the black paint and be done with it?

Not sure if it's painted or some kind of anodized after market piece (probably painted). Just feeling out for cost of another one; depending on price, it may be cheaper for me to get another used one after I hock this on Samba or somewhere else than buy the stuff to clean paint off the one I have - plus my time involved (just like with the gear shifter - cheaper to buy a new one than find a junker and clean it up). Or even straight trade this black one to someone with a regular one that wants to get this look. I've done that with some of the other bits I've taken off Karen from the previous owner.

How in the hell did I miss this?

Please check, Karen will be forever in your debt as I continue to de-pimp her from how she was so poorly styled by her PO ...

I think it's a three prong, yes.

Got quite a few of them in my junker here in Fredericksburg

We also get a lot of mk2, mk3, b4, b5, and aircooled VW's over here. Also engines go for $175 for the whole longblock, and we get a lot of ABA and AAA
