1987 Cabriolet...$150 for whats left!

http://richmonddubs.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=15572&page=2

Getting a amazing deal on a Beetle so I'm puttig this one up for sale. :wink : If it doesn't sell it'll just have to wait its turn to get finshed!

No title...prior owner has passed away so from what I hear it'd be very easy to get a title. I'll sell with a bill of sale.

1987 Cabriolet (no top on it)
1.8 8v with 150kmiles
I believe its a 2Y trans, same ratios as a 4k but a different ring and pinon.
New clutch, rear main seal and trans seals.
ABD short shifter
Race Land coil overs
Dual Solex ADDHE 40mm carbs, fires up and idles needs tuning still.
Pace setter header.
New axles and a set of used ones.
Manual steering.
Soild trans mount.

Thats all I can think of right now. I stil have all the raer glass and stuff if youd want to put it back into the car and the rear window. Has the stock wheels on it right now but I have another set of 14s I'll sell with 4x100 to 4x4.5 adapters for $200. and a couple sets of tires.

Asking $1000. May part out.

[Edited on 1-24-10 by 87veedubcabby]

Since people seem to be intersted in parts I'll make a price list.

Carbs-300
Coilovers-300
Front clip-200 if I remove
Wheels with adapters-200
Windshield-50 you remove
Door cards-20
Dash no cracks-25
2Y Trans with new clutch-100
New 100mm axles-50
Used 100mm axles-10
Header-150
Newer Cat-50

obo on everything.

Anyone interested I can get a title. buyer has to do the foot work to DMV and pay DMV fees. It's 2 trips to DMV, $8 for title search and $65-$75 for title. Those are the DMV fees. 30 days after title search you get title.

cool. I was just offering. I hear all this BS about getting titles. Never had a problem. Seems you haven't either. The hard part is sitting in DMV.

Edit...If you part out I'd like first shot at Side drafts.

I think I payed $330 and theyve just been installed on the car for a couple months, most of the tiem the car was sitting on my lift or on jack stands. Shoot me an offer.

Sidedrafts and Manifold I'd need $300 for or else I'll keep them for a later project. They are in working order and do start up my car and it'll idle.

Beetle is a 67, I've been told thats a good year. I gotta get the Cabriolet out of the garage so I have somewhere to put it.
