FS-1971 Super Beetle project

1971 Super Beetle part out/project.

Pan has been completely restored with new floorpans, front frame head, cleaned, rustproofed, and painted. New poly bushings in rear suspension, new shocks, cv joints, SS braided brake lines, and new shifter bushings.

Rebuilt trans, poly mounts, and throwout bearing.

Body is off pan. Exterior of body, fenders, and doors have been worked and primed...not perfect yet. Interior of body has typical suface rust and some rust in "kick panel" areas, but heater channels are OK. Spare tire well has a bit of rust...some metal patchwork has been done, but will need work.

All trim, windows, glass, wiring, front suspension, etc is there...boxed up. Brand new, in box dash pad will be included. Engine and wheels have already been sold. Chrome steelies will be included. I would like to sell as a whole. The car is located near the Hanover Airpark and can show the car almost any time during work hours or early evening. The second kid is on the way and I already dont have time to work on it!

Asking $1500 OBO

I did read it actually...U2U'd the moderator to find out where to put my "intro" thread....usually there is a particular section or sticky for that and I searched and didn't see it.

Thanks JD....the super's just don't look right without fenders in my opinion. The "german look" however suits these quite well. :yes :

Forgot to mention, car has a clean title as well and title is in hand.

Thanks,
Aaron

For the original poster, here's what Flikr has to say:
To use the URL of a photo (like when you add a photo to your Blogger profile), you must provide the web address (URL) of the image itself, not the address of the web page where the image is displayed.

Here's an example of a correct URL for a photo. Note the .jpg at the end:

Here's an example of an incorrect URL for a photo. It points to the web page where the image is displayed, not the image file itself. Notice there's no .jpg at the end.

(Click both of these links to see the difference.)

You can get the URL of your own images on Flickr. To do this just click "Actions" and "View all sizes." You can then right-click to get the URL of the photo.

Note: Per our Terms of Use, whenever you place an image you're storing on Flickr on an external web site, you must also include a link back to Flickr.

For anyone else, it is much harder to grab the link information and post, but I'm trying to help a dubber out.
Pictures always help with a sale.

Geoff-I appreciate the help. It seems many forums have slightly different ways of posting pics...now I know. Thanks for fixing it for me.

Mr Chainsaw-U2U an offer to me...I am open to reasonable offers...$1500 is a starting point.

I HAVE to have a standard beetle with torsion beams in the front for what I want to do.
